Kebbie's Diaper Bag - Bubbz Review, Coupon Code AND Giveaway! - CLOSED

We are nearing the end of our pocket diaper days, and I am going out with a BANG!  I think I have found the best pocket diapers for our kids.  Kebbie's Diaper Bag carries a line of diapers called Bubbz diapers.  They are an amazing line of diapers that, in my opinion, have everything that the perfect pocket diaper need.  They have a high quality double gusset; not just cheap sewn in elastic, but really well constructed gussets.  They have durable and high quality microfleece for the inner; super soft and doesn't get too pilly.  They also use TPU which is more environmentally friendly than it's PUL counterpart.  The elastic is also very high quality; super stretchy, firm, yet doesn't leave red marks!  And to top it all off....not only are they are very affordable, but they have the cutest prints too!!

So, now that I have told you about how amazing this line of diapers is, I am very excited to tell you about the upgrades that have been made from the Bubbz 2.0 to make the new Bubbz 3.0!

2.0 on Peanut (10 months and 24 lbs)
I was very excited to check out the differences between the 2.0 and the 3.0.  The 2.0 uses the same high quality gusset, interior fabric and TPU as the 3.0.  It is a dual opening pocket, meaning that you can stuff it from the front or the back.  The back opening has a little bit of elastic around it.  The insert is a standard microfiber.  What I love about it is that not only does it snap into the pocket (so you can use it like an AI2), but the snap on the insert is hidden on the top side.  So it doesn't show on the side that faces the baby's skin.    The elastic is all thin, strong and super stretchy.  It has 3 snap rise adjustments and 2 rows of snaps to secure the diaper.

3.0 on Peanut (10 months and 24 lbs)
The 3.0 has some added features.  It is also dual opening pocket, but the front opening has a TPU flap that helps keep front leaks at bay and cover the opening to the pocket area.  The inserts are amazing.  It comes with two!  One is slightly shorter than the other.  The really neat thing about them is that they are bamboo cotton!  They are so amazingly absorbent.  Plus, they are super soft knit on the outside.  So I don't mind using them like an AI2.  The snaps are all hidden like the 2.0, but there are three snaps on the long one and two snaps on the short one, so it is very easy to layer them so they don't move around or bunch up.  The 3.0 has 4 rise adjustments and cross over snaps, so it is easy to use on a smaller baby, but is easily used on a toddler too!

3.0 on Little Man (2.5 years and 32 lbs)
I loved how versatile these both are on our two kids.  They both fit Peanut and Little Man very well.  There were never any gaps or leaks with either kid.  I prefer the 2.0 on Peanut and the 3.0 on Little Man for just one reason.  I find that the TPU cover over the front opening on the 3.0 tends to sneak up on Peanut.  But I find that with all the pocket diapers that have that feature.  I think it's just because she belly crawls.  I also like that the snaps are all color coded.  It looks cute with the prints, but it also makes it very easy for others to do diaper changes.  I just remember that Peanut gets snapped on the Yellow and Little Man gets snapped on the Orange and let whoever is changing their diapers know.

I also wanted to let you all know about what makes Kebbie's Diaper Bag so amazing too.  Not only do they have a great product and wonderful customer service, but they also give back to their community.  Check out Sharing Tree United for more information.

  9. The teething necklace looks nice, but is it safe? Is it child-handling-proof? I'm a little skeptical, but if it's durable, that'd be something nice to have. :)

  10. I am finding that if I snap them a little loose, that they work well to go up and down during those first few weeks of potty training.   ;)   Plus, I love how high the rise is for him.

  11. Amber necklaces are very safe.  Amber is extremely light weight and it warms to the skin.  So, after it is on for a minute, you don't realize that it is there.  I have used Amber with all of my kids (my husband and I use it too!  Great for aches and pains.) And we've never had a problem with them trying to play with it or tug on it.  You want to get them short enough so that they stay around the neck and can't get over the edge of their chin.  Kebbie's necklaces are also tied between each stone, so even if it were to break, you wouldn't have a big mess on your hands.  You'd only lose one stone and they are small enough that even if your LO were to swallow it, it would just pass.
