Writer's block...

Look a little Frazzled to you?

What a great time to get writer's block.  I don't know if it's because I am so overwhelmed by everything going on right now or if the pressure is just getting to me.  Wait....that's the same thing....right?  See?!  I'm just not making sense right now!

I do have some fun giveaways in the works.  I'm also working on a little surprise for all of you (if the cards fall into place).  So I am working behind the scenes even if I'm not necessarily present on here right now.

But, seriously....now is NOT the time to be unable to express myself!

The RacDad and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on Friday.  (I know....we're getting old.)  But the time has really flown.  Since we have young babies and a seriously tight budget, we can't do the things we always thought we would for our 10th anniversary.  We always talked about taking a trip together...like a little honeymoon that we never really had.  We talked about getting new wedding bands; adding one to my set and replacing The RacDad's since his was so cheap.  So, instead we are throwing a party.  It's not going to be anything fancy....just some mixed nuts and sparkling juice, maybe a little music, in the community room of our apartment complex.  We've invited family and friends (sent out 70 invitations) but we're not expecting anyone but our really close family and friends to show up....so maybe 20 people.  I might even try to get a cake.  We are doing this because we really miss seeing people and we thought, "Why not?"  But it is Labor Day weekend.....

But the special thing that we are doing is that we are renewing our wedding vows.  We have been planning this since March.  I have the dress...he has the suit.  We invited our parents and our closest friends to come and join us.  It will be the wedding that I originally wanted....simple, small and at the Falls.  Not to say that I didn't LOVE my first wedding....I really did.  But it was huge, 350 people, fully formal, church wedding with reception afterward with the full buffet line, live band, dancing, 2 open bars, kind of wedding.  I still to this day can't believe that we pulled it off in just 2 months!  So it was quite different than what I had originally planned and that's OK.  So, The RacDad suggested that we renew our vows the way that we wanted to do it the first time as a way to make our 10th anniversary special.  He's just so sweet.

So, I really do need to figure out what I am going to say.  I had it all planned out.......but I didn't write it down..... OH NO!  Now I can't remember.  So I am thinking about maybe just saying our original vows instead of something poetic and new.  What do you think?

And, since we can never do one thing at a time....because where's the fun in that?!....We are also going to be baptizing Peanut the next morning.  I figured since our family and friends, who would be apart of the baptism,  are already going to travel here for our anniversary, we might as well save them a trip.
