Tommee Tippee Sensitive Tummy Bottle Review

Tommee Tippee did it again!  They made an amazing product that I just cannot live without.  I have to say that Tommee Tippee is one of the few companies that my family relies on.  We have used their regular bottles with Little Man and have continued on with Peanut.  They are perfect for avoiding nipple confusion.  My kids have never had a problem nursing and taking an occasional bottle.  Peanut does not like pacifiers though, so I was really worried about her being able to take a bottle.  Luckily, she does take a bottle really well.

Peanut has GERD.  She is being treated with medication, but she has a tummy that is very sensitive to gas.  Even with the regular Tommee Tippee bottles, she would still have to stop every ounce to burp.  Tommee Tippee generously offered to send Peanut a set of their Sensitive Tummy bottles.  It is amazing how well it really works.  The first time she used it, she sucked the bottle empty so quickly with no breaks in between.  Plus, she didn't have a hard tummy from gas or any spitting up afterward!

When I opened the package, I examined each piece carefully.  Now, one of the reasons I breastfeed is because I really hate to clean bottles...I hate doing dishes all together.  I thought that with all the extra parts it would be a pain, but they are actually very easy to clean.  There is a little brush included to help reach those hard to reach places in the tube.  I love how the anti-colic valve tube has a safety stripe on it.  It is blue, but turns pink when the milk is too hot.  Since I pump and freeze, this feature is really great.  I know that when someone else needs to thaw and heat her milk, they will be able to feed her safely without the milk being too hot.  I did notice when I opened the package that I had to break open the seam on the anti-colic valve itself.  I'm glad that I noticed that before trying to use it because it wouldn't have worked if it was still sealed.

The only complaint that I had the last time I did a Tommee Tippee review was that Tommee Tippee was exclusively sold at Babies 'R Us (which I didn't like at all).  I am so very excited to tell you all that Tommee Tippee are now reasonably priced at Target.  Yes!  Target!!!  This makes this Trophy Wife very happy.

Tommee Tippee has a wide range of wonderful baby and child products.  We have used the chewthers, bottles, and sippy cups.  So far we love them all and they are never far from the diaper bag.  Tommee Tippee makes our go-to products and we just can't get enough of them!
